About you
Due to growth, we are currently looking for two additional Graduate Auditors to join our Audit division. Our thriving audit practice works with and provides services to some of Queensland's most exciting, established and emerging companies. In your career with BDO, you will have the opportunity to work in a high performing team on a diverse client base with exposure to challenging work in a cross section of industries.
Skills & Experience:
- To be considered for a position with us, you will be in your final year (or recently completed) a Business or Commerce degree, majoring in Accounting
- Applicants must be Australian/NZ Citizens or Australian/NZ Permanent Residents;
- Have strong analytical, critical thinking and organisational skills;
- Collaborative personality who thrives in a team, as well as independently;
- Consistently strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Enthusiasm and receptiveness to ongoing feedback and mentoring

Cons
Not so much my company but my current position. I feel like I am being pigeon-holed and would like to seek further experience in other divisions
Due to the area of my job, there is a block-out period from July to November which I am unable to take any annual leave
Our office is going through a period of change, so processes and procedures are not uniform
Can be demanding due to time frames and time management needs to be managed
The travel, which is unfortunately unavoidable especially for a mid-tier firm who will have lots of smaller clients. You spend a lot of time out of the office and at clients, which can be draining at times, particularly when they're located far away from where you live. They do their best to put you on clients close to your home, but having to travel eventually is unavoidable.
