The Role

Our Risk Advisory practice continues to grow and we're looking for Graduates who are interested in a career focusing on Contract Audit and Assurance and delivering exceptional results and service to our clients.

In this role you will be given the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to financial establishment & independent financial audits
  • Review of compliance to contracted commercial terms and arrangements
  • Reviewing operational and maintenance performance against contracted KPIs
  • Funding acquittal audits in relation to Government grants

Skills & Experience:

  • To be considered for a position with us, you will have recently completed a degree in Accounting, Commerce, Law or Management
  • Applicants must be Australian/NZ Citizens or Australian/NZ Permanent Residents
  • Have strong analytical, critical thinking and organisational skills;
  • Collaborative personality who thrives in a team, as well as independently;
  • Consistently strong written and verbal communication skills including thorough legal research skills;
  • Enthusiasm and receptiveness to ongoing feedback and mentoring;

Pros

Cons

    • Not so much my company but my current position. I feel like I am being pigeon-holed and would like to seek further experience in other divisions

    • Due to the area of my job, there is a block-out period from July to November which I am unable to take any annual leave

    • Our office is going through a period of change, so processes and procedures are not uniform

    • Can be demanding due to time frames and time management needs to be managed

    • The travel, which is unfortunately unavoidable especially for a mid-tier firm who will have lots of smaller clients. You spend a lot of time out of the office and at clients, which can be draining at times, particularly when they're located far away from where you live. They do their best to put you on clients close to your home, but having to travel eventually is unavoidable.
