We have a permanent opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our business to business field team with the focus of the role being on business development within the Sydney territory. You will also be involved with the ongoing use of effective sales and management techniques to achieve the key business targets and margin optimisation.

You will be involved with:

  • Selling and promoting the full range of Caltex products and services
  • Building and maintaining relationships with our key customers
  • Ensuring compliance to the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC)
  • Develop and execute marketing, business and account plans for the nominated sales territory
  • Reporting and forecasting for the designated territory
  • Ensuring incident free operations within the operational environment.

The Sydney territory extends to regional NSW areas and this role will be required to travel across this territory regularly.

This is an exciting role which will see you travelling the territory and working closely with our wholesale customers. You will be a proactive with strong initiative to be able to build your network. Ongoing training and support will be provided to the successful candidate for this role. To be successful in this role, you will

  • Have previous experience within sales / sales management
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Marketing or other related field
  • Sound knowledge of marketing strategies, up to date knowledge of the business market and commercial developments within the region
  • Understanding of customer account management
  • Ability to work autonomously with strong accountability
  • Ability to innovate and build relationships whilst having an outcome focus
