Downer Rail has over 100 years' experience and we are proudly the leading provider and maintainer of passenger and freight rolling stock in Australia. We continue to supply approximately 60 per cent of the active mainline locomotive fleet in Australia.

Our Development programs;

Your experience as a grad or intern would be unlike any other development program out there. You will have the opportunity to gain a holistic insight into our organisation and be able to work across our offices and depots with vast amounts of responsibility. Not only will you work in your selected value stream, but you will also work with teams in other areas of the organisation to give you a thorough understanding of the business.
