It is a great starting salary however other companies do offer more.

Seem fairly standard for the industry

My pay has been quite high for a first year graduate and bonuses are given to people who have demonstrated commitment and hard work

Pay levels I think are fairly good, and my pay increased slightly. But salary review does not seem to be something that I have had any formal discussions about.

The pay seems to be average for graduates and I am happy with it. I have heard that once you leave the graduate program the pay at GHD is often much less than other companies and a lot of people leave because of it. But I have not yet experienced this myself.

I know that pay is lower than several other similar companies, but the experience and opportunities are worth it. they are also very accommodating and flexible with time. no bonus, but yearly pay rise throughout grad program and first few years

The pay isn't great, and I don't know if I get more or less than engineering grads, but this is my first year out of uni so I am happy with the pay I receive.

The pay is less than competitors' offerings, but I believe that is compensated for through the amount of provisions, perks, benefits provided and the comfort in which we work. If I was earning the same salary and working obscene hours or with rude people, I would consider resigning. No bonuses isn't a big deal, but an indication of future salary expectations would be handy to have when planning out my career.

Graduate pay is not high by industry standards. GHD recently raised base grad salary.

It would definitely be nice to get more! However as a graduate, I am fine with my pay however I would hope I would be recognised for what I am doing and my pay increase accordingly.

I like the idea of salary sacrifice where you can sacrifice some of your pay to get an additional 4 weeks of leave. This is essential for someone like me who has to travel a lot due to sporting commitments.

Good events and networking opportunities

Morning tea - free food in the office room - normally leftover sweets, because people are weird about their health (but still don't exercise).

Ball at the end of the year. Lots of social events. Flexible work (hours, working from home, working part time etc.)

The best example is our team's rewards and recognitions program, where each month team members may be nominated for a movie voucher or other prize, for performing exceptionally in their work or outside of work. It rewards good behaviour, which is one of the key motivators for a lot of people to do well in their job. The worst perks are the pitiful discounts on memberships offered by ridiculously expensive gyms. Not many people would be able to afford these, even after the discount. The perks would be better used on more affordable options, such as fuel discounts at a certain chain, or better deals with superannuation providers.

20% gym memberships and health care

Flexible work hours and flexible offices too. Can work anywhere from any office.

All meals expenses etc covered while travelling for company. Company is engaged in professional societies, sometimes offered tickets to talks.

The best perk is the work functions organised for us. Although I'm sure they exist I'm not aware of any other perks.

Extravagant yearly social functions.

Great work drinks and events including end of year whole office event at the Museum of Contemporary art in Circular Quay.

Any event is paid for and sometimes there are free sandwiches for lunch

I received a $300 red balloon voucher as appreciation for my extra work.

Some perks including health insurances deals but nothing significant.
