What does our team do?

Marsh Risk Management (RM) business consists of seven specialty practices which benefit from being coordinated globally, and in Australia we have some of the most experienced practitioners in the insurance market focused on each of these. We are looking for Graduates in our Risk Management business to drive our talent further and faster. The industries we look after include:

• Real Estate
• Mining
• Food and Beverage
• Manufacturing

What can you expect?

• Work with RM Brokers to gain an understanding of the client's business, risk management and insurance needs; including: Claims and data analysis, Preparing documentation for client presentations and meetings, Managing a portfolio of allocated clients, Development, implementation and management of risk management and insurance programs, and Supporting Account Managers and Client Services Teams
• Assist RM Brokers with the development, implementation and management of risk management and insurance programs addressing client needs
• Assist RM Brokers with the development and maintenance of effective long term relationships with key client decision-makers through regular meetings and liaison
• Acquire and maintain an awareness of the client's business and insurance needs, noting all briefing information provided by senior servicing and broking managers
• Develop and maintain a basic technical understanding of all major classes of insurance including niche and specialised solutions which Marsh offers to its clients
• Develop and maintain a basic understanding of the core aspects of relevant Insurance and related legislation

Our hiring criteria:

• Applicants must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident
• Be in your final year of a university degree or have completed your degree in the past 2 years
• Open to applicants from all university degrees and backgrounds
• Graduates with a minimum of 65% grade point average (credit average)
• Involvement with extra-curricular activities such as volunteering, sporting teams and/or community initiatives
