Quite rigorous. Multiple stages of assessment and interview.

My interview process was very positive. The interview felt more like a conversation than a typical interview, which put me at ease. The assessment centre portion was interesting and it wasn't too stressful which I appreciated.

I applied online through the PwC website before completing an online maths test and logic test. Afterwards I answered some video interview questions before progressing to the assessment centre. Once at the assessment centre I was placed on a team to complete a case study and then was interviewed privately. The whole experience was welcoming and as comfortable as can be when you're applying for a job. The staff were kind and willing to meet you.

Two interviews, and group business case, and psychometric testing.

There were a few phases as part of the interview process. The first phase included numerical assessments, logic assessments and behavioural assessments. The second phase included a video interview where we are asked to answer questions within a specific time limit in a one-way environment. The third phase included a face to face interview with the job manager and director.

There was a psychological and logic assessment, a video interview and a face to face interview which depending on how far into the process you got.

Very long and quite challenging

Typical long process of online testing, video question answering and phone interview before an assessment centre. I did like that the final interview took place at the assessment centre.

The interview was very well organised, and the whole process gave us a feel of the work we ended up doing.

Various online assessments qualitative and quantitative. Followed by an online interview and then an assessment centre with another interview with the leader of the business unit. Assessment centre had group task and a networking chat.

Interview process is rigorous. I do not like the video interviews, i think they are really tough for people to know how to answer the questions in the best way possible.

Two face to face interviews, one was casual. A paid six week internship to meet the team and work on a project.

I was asked to describe times when I worked in a team, times when I had to deal with a difficult person. I was also asked where I source my news and to talk about an article I read recently.

My interviewers told me where they started and how they got to where they were going and why they do what they do. I responded with my life interests and that while I didn't have business experience, my family has taught me a lot about what matters which can be empathised with clients in the small enterprise sector. I also questioned my interviewers about the societal impact PwC has because that was important to me and we had casual chats about outside work interests.

Questions were asked such as how do you deal with conflict, how do you prioritise your work and technical related question relevant to the line of work.

General questions regarding the business principles and values, what action you would take in certain situations and more technical questions aligned to the BU you are applying for.

My experiences, what I wanted to do professionally, how my current skills would translate into the audit room, industries I would enjoy working with, etc.

How has my previous employment assisted me and how will it help in my graduate role? Behavioural questions about teamwork, communication, business awareness

Make sure you keep up to datewith what PwC is doing and what changes are going on in the industry. Try and find a current news article that is relevant to the division/ industry you're applying to talk about in your interview. Prepare some answers, however don't sound too scripted. Try and take examples from different things you've done so that you can mention all the experience you have, even if you don't think it's relevant.

Best practice for an interview is an interview itself. So apply for multiple firms and do mock interview session at university with the career guides

Be confident and know the company (what they do).

Be yourself. Reflect upon your curricular activities ; work experience and anything else relevant to prepare for possible interview questions.

To be best prepared, I recommend having practiced preparing resumes and answering aspiration questions so that you know how to best describe your qualities and life goals. Also practice answering a wide range of interview questions so you are prepared for different styles of questions. Practice answering questions in a mirror so you can see your facial expressions and hand gestures and check you are making eye contact. I also recommend you dress very smart - better to overdress than underdress. Lastly, have confidence!

Get to know the company values before the interview (you will usually be sent this) and as always be yourself, the company hires for culture as well as expertise.

Prepare and practice your presentation

Ensure that your communication and technical skills are of a high standard and that you are willing to learn and develop as you progress throughout your career.

Make sure you have an answer to the general behavioural questions and try to be relaxed and natural

Prepare for questions you think you will get, research the company.

Be yourself. At the end of the day, people want to work with people they will get along with and who are smart.

Research and understand the company and the service line that you want to go into

Care, know what you're talking about, be enthusiastic

Just be yourself - they want someone they know they can work with and get along with.

Research is the most important part, appear knowledgeable about both PwC's service offerings and wider issues in certain industries you are interested in.

Volume - apply to as many places and do as many interviews and video interviews!

Learn the values, and understand your transferable skills that you have picked up through work, volunteering and Uni.

Never shy away from achieving experience. Don't say no to a new opportunity that will teach you something, even the worst project, group, club, job offers to teach you a lot.

Be yourself and show your life experiences connect with the firm's values.

Research the company, get to know the business unit they are applying for. BE THEMSELVES, so important as you will be working with these people day in day out and need to be comfortable in that environment and they need to be comfortable with you.
