Few brands evoke the same feeling of pride that Qantas can. A sense of familiarity and pride that this national icon represents us to the world. You might be most familiar with the experience of our products and services, but there’s much more to us we’d like to tell you about.

The aviation industry doesn’t stand still. Challenged to adapt and change, we’ve responded by reinventing our customer experience, broadening our business and achieving what was thought impossible.

Our General Graduates hold all types of degrees and bring diverse skills and knowledge to our business. As a General Graduate you'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of business areas including customer, operations, commercial and strategy.

You could be involved in anything from designing our on-board amenity kits to planning new network routes. This will give you the chance to broaden your experience, while building a strong professional network that will help you to fast track your success as a future leader at Qantas.

You’ll bring brand new perspectives and challenge us to do things differently, helping us stay ahead of the game by creating a customer experience like no other.

To be eligible to apply to our 2020 cohort, you must –

  • Be in your final year of study or have completed an undergraduate degree or postgraduate study in the last 2 years
  • Maintained a credit average or above
  • Be able to commence full time employment with Qantas in February 2020
  • Be a Permanent Resident or Australian/NZ citizen at application

A career with us can go in any direction. What’s certain is that when we are open minded and rise to the challenge, we get opportunities to create the career we want.

Qantas is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion. We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, and people of all backgrounds to apply. If you have any support or access requirements, we encourage you to advise us at time of application. We will then work with you to identify the best way to assist you through the recruitment process.

If you’re ready to step into a culture that will challenge and excite you, submit an application and let’s explore how we go places together.
