Career Prospects at Santos

There is a strong history of training and progressing staff in house rather than importing talent.

It's a bit hard due to the market at the moment, but there are still managerial jobs on offer within the company.

Career progression is probably a little slower than some companies because the graduates follow a rotation system so that you gain a broad knowledge in your first few years rather than a deeper knowledge. After that career progression is good and there are many ex-graduates in leadership positions.

Technical skills is recognised which drives reputation and respect. Management skills are currently preferred with the backing of technical capability when looking at promotions.
