The opportunity:

This graduate opportunity sits in the HR team, this comprises a group of HR Business Partners and specialists which focus on areas including organisational development, talent, recruitment and reward. The vision of both groups is to contribute towards a better way to work and live for our internal community of Stockland employees.

Stockland recently underwent a transformation of its HR systems and technology. Following this we now want to take HR data to make impactful decisions that guide decisions around the operation of our business and help achieve Stockland's organisational purpose.

Initially this position will focus on the consistency and streamlining of the reporting process, supporting with contextualising what data means to allow better HR business partnering to take place. Longer term this graduate will play a key role in allowing the HR community to make predictions around factors such as performance and attrition.

Given the broad remit of this position, this role provides a unique opportunity for a graduate to pursue a longer-term career in a range of core functions in the Stockland business or externally.

This position is based in Sydney with the opportunity for infrequent travel.

Requirements:

This position is open to graduates from all degree backgrounds. To be eligible you should have achieved a 60% grade point average or above either to date or overall in your degree subject. Please attach a copy of your transcript to your application so that this can be cross-referenced.

This position will interact with stakeholders across the organisation, therefore the ability to build strong working relationships and adapt dependent on the team you are supporting is critical for success. As this is a new role at Stockland it will be important for this graduate to have the tenacity to problem solve and take the initiative to drive forward solutions.

Although there is not an expectation that you have come from a financial degree background, this position will involve data analysis. Whilst training will be available a level of competence in using Microsoft excel and/or other data analysis tools is desirable.

To be eligible for the Stockland programme you must currently be studying for or have completed a suitable degree in the last 24 months of the programme start date. This programme will start in February 2019.
