The Graduate Diploma of Health Research equips students with advanced knowledge and skills in health research design and practice. This course is delivered by CDU and the Menzies School of Health Research. You will be taught by leading Menzies Research professionals in the specialist areas of specialist areas of Indigenous health, public health and global health. You will acquire theoretical and practical capabilities in: epidemiology; biostatistics; quantitative and qualitative research methods. On completion you can articulate to a Master of Health Research and undertake a supervised research project; and then proceed, with approval, to Higher Degree Research training. Alternatively, you can articulate to a Master of Public Health. Upon graduating, you will be equipped to work in areas of health research and professional public health practice. This course requires you to have a high level of academic reading and writing. If you are not confident in your academic literacy skills, you are encouraged to fully utilise the University's academic support services.
