This major covers the relationship between management and the workforce, and the influence of unions, employers, employees and the government. You will gain knowledge of the complexity of organisational relationships and change.
You will look at the relationship between management and labour, which may be shaped and influenced by government, employers, employees and unions. You also gain knowledge and skills in types of employment, forms of bargaining, negotiation processes, grievances and industrial action and alternate dispute resolution options.
This major must be completed as part of a double major with Human Resource Management.
