The Master of Urban Development and Design (Extension) offers you advanced study in the growth and change of urban form. You will connect with fellow universities, city agencies and professionals to integrate the latest urban development practice with creative design to forge the 21st century city.You will study the synthesis of spatial political economy, urban design principles and paradigms, and urban design as public policy. The research/design component involves higher order research as a preparation for new practice frontiers, or a higher degree. Using Sydney as a case study, this degree's Extension element provides you with a deeper critical understanding of design techniques for burgeoning cities and older urban regions facing structural change.
