Applicants will: hold a medical radiation science, allied health, nursing or medical degree (AQF7 or equivalent). In this context ‘allied health’ refers to degrees in which (1) graduates are autonomous practitioners with a direct patient care role, (2) there is a defined core scope of practice, (3) there are national entry level competency standards and assessment procedures, and (4) the course is accredited by a national body. students are required to be employed in ultrasound practice for a minimum of 3 days/week over a 2 year period, full-time equivalent, in an Australian or New Zealand clinical setting under the supervision of an Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) accredited supervisor or suitably qualified and experienced medical practitioner working in the clinical context. Prospective students are responsible for obtaining a trainee position and are required to complete a Clinical Placement form confirming the position details and submit it with their application for entry to the course.

Master of Sustainable Agriculture A completed Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline from a University or other tertiary education provider. OR A completed Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture from a University or other tertiary education provider (or equivalent). OR A completed Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Agriculture from a University or other tertiary education provider (or equivalent). OR Relevant Industry experience from the agricultural/business sector of at least 2 years or equivalent knowledge gained through alternate means. Refer to http://futurestudents. csu. edu. au/apply/english-language for the specific requirements.  Graduate Certificate in Gerontology Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Gerontology  must meet the following requirements: Completed degree (or AQF equivalent) in human services, social work, social welfare, social sciences, nursing, health or related areas; or A recognised diploma (or AQF equivalent) from a  Registered Training Organisation AND Five years full time (or equivalent) work experience in Human Services with a supporting reference from their employer.   English Language Proficiency Standard English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirements. Applications postmarked after 28 September will not be considered for entry in 2019 and will therefore not be accepted. Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/ Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) In order to be eligible to transfer into the Honours stream at the beginning of year 5 of the double degree program, students will have to obtain grades of credit or above in at least 50% of the subjects in Year 2,3 and 4 years of the combined degree program. Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/ Bachelor of Veterinary Science Applicants with higher education study * Successful completion of one year full time equivalent university level study (AQF level Associate Degree or higher) demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in the most recent of these studies. Prerequisite Studies * There are no formal prerequisite studies for the Veterinary science course at CSU, but it is highly recommended that students have studied one or more science disciplines (preferably Chemistry) and high level mathematics at Year 12 or University level. * Students entering the course without these studies are strongly recommended to undertake appropriate CSU Study Link subjects before commencing the degree to prepare for the course. Supplementary Application Form * The Supplementary Application Form, which includes detailed instructions on applying, must be submitted to the School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences directly and must be submitted between the start of August to the last Friday in September each year. Interviews * Applicants deemed to be competitive, based on the application for admission and the supplementary form, will be invited to interview. * The aim of the interview is to provide an opportunity for you to demonstrate your communication skills and further discuss your interest in and commitment to animal production and rural and regional veterinary practice. * Interviews are held over four business days, in late November and early December. Applicants for the Bachelor of Business (Finance) must meet the following Admission Requirements: * A completed High School Certificate (or equivalent) with an ATAR of at least 65 (including adjustment factors). OR * Successful completion of at least two Bachelor degree level subjects (or Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) equivalent) or higher in any discipline. OR * A completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) Certificate III or higher, studied at a TAFE or Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or equivalent. OR * A completed Tertiary Preparation Certificate (TPC) or bridging program studied at a TAFE, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or University, or equivalent. OR * Partial completion of a Vocational Education and Training (VET) Diploma, of at least 50% from a TAFE or Registered Training Organisation (RTO) - or equivalent. OR * Work experience of at least two years with some elements of business management or supervision, demonstrated by a detailed resume.
