Throughout this course, learn how to plan, design, conduct, assess and review training and assessment - these are all “must have” skills for any successful trainer. This course (or the skill sets) is suitable preparation for those engaged in the delivery of training and assessment in any context including the workplace. This course meets the minimum, mandatory qualification requirement for those who would like to train others in a specific industry or particular subject area within the Vocational Education Training (VET) sector.

Entry requirements

Students undertaking this course must be able to demonstrate vocational competency in their proposed teaching and assessment area. Vocational competency is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience and may include, but not limited to, holding a relevant unit of competency or qualification. Students who have successfully completed TAE40110 and are wishing to upgrade their qualification to TAE40116 will need to provide a copy of their TAE40110 qualification to their teacher after enrolment including a list of units completed to their teacher after enrolment.
