The Bachelor of Technology (Aeronautical Engineering) degree provides a solid foundation in Engineering Technology, and has been specially developed to meet the needs of the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

The Bachelor of Computing and Cyber Security is built on solid computer science and mathematics fundamentals. The degree has a focus on both theoretical foundations and practical approaches to computation and its applications within security. Mining Engineering studies the safe, economic and environmentally responsible recovery, processing, marketing and financial management of mineral resources. In simple terms, Mining Engineering is about the extraction of natural minerals from the earth and the processing of those minerals into more user-friendly forms with minimal environmental impact. This degree provides a comprehensive understanding of how complex mining systems work together to service the global need for minerals. It will give you a solid foundation in fundamental engineering principles and essential elements of mining, like geomechanics, ventilation, mine planning and mineral processing. To get you work ready, you'll apply these skills through 60 days of approved industry training.

The Master of Logistics Management (MLogMgmt) looks at managing an organisation's supply chain from a dual perspective of operations management and efficient business decision making. This approach emphasises the what and the how of inter-related activities of supply chain success to enable logistics managers to develop appropriate strategies.\ This degree covers advanced logistics planning strategies, logistics life-cycle management, inventory management, contingency forecasting, distribution and reverse logistics. It also develops students' understanding of analytical tools and systems for information flow management, including big data analysis and business intelligence techniques.\ The degree has an option to do a research-based project that will lead to future research-focused degrees.

Electrical Engineering encompasses research, design, development, manufacturing and management of complex systems for many different uses. Think about the infrastructure that allows you to call anywhere in the world on your mobile. Or the electricity wires that connect your house to the power grid. Study Electrical Engineering and you will never be out of a job. This degree focuses on design, development, manufacturing and management of complex hardware and software systems, and reliable cost-effective devices. This involves the use of new information and computer-intensive technologies. Key courses include telecommunications, photonics, systems and control, energy systems, microelectronics and signal processing. To get you work ready, you'll apply these skills through 60 days of approved industry training.

This Honours degree gives you the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of Architectural Design methods, knowledge and history by undertaking a significant research project. During the year you will also undertake research-methods courses to assist you to prepare a thesis, and will be supervised by an academic and often an architect of practice.Following the Honours year, you may apply to enter the Master of Architecture or apply to undertake a research degree such as the Master of Philosophy, Master's by Research or a PhD.

The Master of Cyber Security, Strategy and Diplomacy provides advanced interdisciplinary study into the political, military, diplomatic and higher level management aspects of issues where cyber security, strategy and diplomacy interact. This degree provides students with the ability to understand the main policy, operational, ethical and informational challenges for security resulting from the integration or penetration of advanced information technologies into all spheres of human activity. This degree offers opportunities for international education. Through UNSW's PLuS Alliance partnership, our students have access to courses at Arizona State university (ASU) in the US and King's College in the UK.
